Licenses

View or add a customers Restricted Chemical or Technology license and record the date a MSDS for Ammonium Nitrate was issued to the Customer.

Access
Grant permission to User Profiles in Access User Profiles > select a User Profile > Security > Accounts Receivable module > Menu Security > Access Customers > Edit Licenses.

Add a Chemical License

Select to add or to remove a chemical license.

Use the drop down menu available in State to select the two letter abbreviation of the State that issued the license.

Enter the Name of who holds the chemical license for the account, up to 40 alpha-numeric characters.

Up to 40 alpha-numeric characters are available for the chemical License ID number.

Use Expires to enter the expiration date of the license using the mm/dd/yy date field or click into the field and use the drop down calendar. This information can be updated as needed.

Required for sale of restricted chemicals in Mississippi, enter the Certificate of up to 20 alpha-numeric characters

Select when the Certificate Expires using the mm/dd/yy date format or drop down calender.

Restricted chemicals can not be sold to customers without a valid Restricted Chemical license. A 3rd party applicator can be associated with the account to allow for the purchase and application of any Restricted Chemical. Click the Applicators tab to view available Applicators or navigate to Access Applicators to add the account to a 3rd party applicator.

Technical Licenses

Enter any of the following Technical Licenses, up to 20 alpha-numeric characters and select the Issued Date from the drop down calender or enter using the mm/dd/yy date format. Select Form if the License number is a Form number.

  • Clearfield License
  • Pioneer License
  • Terral Seed License
  • Bayer License * see below
  • Restricted Fuel Permit
  • DOW License
  • BASF License
  • Syngenta License
  

AGIIS GLN- AGIIS Global Location Number - AG Industry Identification System - standardized identifier for use in e-commerce and data analysis.

Track when MSDS for Ammonium Nitrate, Material Safety Data Sheet for Ammonium Nitrate, was issued to the customer.

  • Issued - Date a MSDS was provided to the customer.
  • Expires - Expiration Date of the currently issued MSDS. After the Expires date, any new purchase of Ammonium Nitrate will prompt to provide a MSDS.

Note - No legal requirement currently exists but a best practice is to provide a MSDS yearly to those customers purchasing Ammonium Nitrate.

Select the checkbox to authorize the customer to purchase Farm Fuels, items that have the Restricted Fuels checkbox selected.

Items flagged as VFD required can now be sold to wholesale customers by selecting the Authorized to Distribute checkbox.

The Zones section is Informational only and indicates a pricing zone for each commodity and a manufacturer. This does not affect any pricing in Merchant Ag PM.

* Select the ID Only checkbox to indicate the license is for ID purposes only and prevents the customer from purchasing items flagged as Bayer Tech License required.
